At last, we can share the news: we’re launching a collaboration with the one and only Forbes—and we’re doing it for the culture.

We’ve teamed up to launch an Art Contest that celebrates emerging web3 artists and their work. Sizable grants and a star-studded panel of judges are part of the deal. You can send your submission any time until January 19th, 5PM ET.

Now, let’s dive into the details.

Are you starting out as an artist? You’re in!

We welcome emerging artists from all backgrounds—as long as you consider yourself an up-and-coming creator in the web3 space, this is your chance to shine and showcase your work on a global stage. Please note that to participate, you can only use artwork that hasn't been minted before.

Meet the judges: OSF, Betty of Deadfellaz, Randi Zuckerberg and more

We've lined up an exceptional panel of judges for this contest. If you’ve ever been on NFT Twitter, chances are you know these people and/or the projects they represent:

As for the grant, while it would never match the magnitude of our judges no matter how big, we believe it’s fair! The total grant pool is 15,000 MATIC. The top 10 winners will each receive 1,000 MATIC. The third-place winner will receive an additional 500 MATIC, the second-place winner will get an extra 1,500 MATIC, and the first-place winner will receive a bonus of 3,000 MATIC.

Additionally, the top 10 winners will have their artwork minted on Polygon via Rarible as limited Open Edition drops. Each drop will be listed at 2 MATIC per edition. The artist will receive the mint proceeds from the Open Edition drop, in addition to the 1000 MATIC grant prize.

But there's more! In addition to the non-fiat money (honestly the best kind these days), the top 3 winners will get a feature on Rarible’s homepage and ForbesWeb3, among other exclusive prizes. One lucky winner will also be featured on NFT.NYC 2024 Digital Twin Tickets!

To apply, fill out this form until January 19th, 5PM ET. Please make sure that your artwork has never been minted before.

We can't wait to see your submissions!
