Rarible.com supports even more chains on the secondary marketplace

Minting NFTs on Ethereum

To mint NFTs on Ethereum, first get yourself an Ethereum compatible wallet like Metmask or Coinbase Wallet (for a full list of suitable wallets, check here).

Next, you need to buy some ETH. You can do this on pretty much any centralized (like Coinbase) or decentralized (like Uniswap) exchange.

Once you’ve got ETH in your wallet you’re good to go. Head on over to Rarible and browse through endless Ethereum NFTs.

Minting on Base

Getting started buying NFTs on Base is simple. If you own ETH (you don’t live under a rock so of course you do), then you just need to bridge it to Base.

Head to Relay Bridge. Select the chain where you have your ETH. Enter the amount of ETH that you want to bridge, and press ‘Bridge’. Now wait up to 15 seconds.

That’s it. Now you're ready to explore Onchain Media on Base.

How to mint using DEGEN tokens

DEGEN is the native token used on the social app Farcaster. There are tons of talented artists creating NFTs on Base that can be minted in DEGEN - here’s how:

First, you need a wallet that is compatible with the Base network. Some popular options include Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, and Trust Wallet. (Click here for a full list of compatible wallets). Next, head to the Degen website. On the top right corner you’ll see “Buy $DEGEN”. Connect your wallet and select how much DEGEN you want to get and choose between a using a cross-chain swap, debit or credit card or an exchange.

Select whichever one suits you, and follow the steps until you’ve got that lovely DEGEN sitting in your wallet. Then just pop over to Rarible.com and mint away!

How to mint Polygon NFTs

To get started with NFTs on the Polygon Network, first, you'll need a Polygon-compatible wallet, such as Metamask or Coinbase Wallet (you can find a full list of compatible wallets here).

R is for Royalties is one of the most successful Polygon drops on Rarible.com

Once you have your wallet set up, you’ll need to get some MATIC, which you can purchase on most crypto exchanges like Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, or Uniswap.

And that’s it - go get those JPEGs!

Minting on RARI Chain

RARI chain is an L3 built on top of Arbitrum One. In order to get minting on RARI, you need to bridge funds to Arbitrum One and then bridge to RARI chain. You can do all this using the official Arbitrum Bridge.

Compatible wallets for RARI include MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, and Rainbow Wallet. See a full list here.

Once you’ve got your funds on RARI and your wallet set up—happy minting!

Etherlink is built on Tezos, so it uses the same native currency - Tez (XTZ). It’s EVM compatible though, so you can also use some wrapped assets, thanks to their nifty bridging techniques.

Let’s get into it.

1. If you have XTZ on Tezos

Head to the bridging platform Etherlink Bridge and connect your Tezos/Etherlink compatible wallet (Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet).

Choose “deposit” to move funds from Tezos to Etherlink.Enter the amount of XTZ you want to transfer. Click “Move funds to Etherlink”.For more detailed info check out the Etherlink docs.

2. Bridging from select EVMs to Etherlink

The EVM bridge supports connections from Etherlink to these networks:

  • Ethereum
  • Avalanche C-Chain
  • Arbitrum One
  • Optimism
  • Base
  • BNB Chain

It allows users to transfer several wrapped tokens, including USDT, USDC, WBTC, WETH, WAVAX, WBNB and SHIB. To start, go to the Etherlink wrapped asset bridge at Etherlink Bridge. Connect your EVM wallet. Select the chain you're bridging from, as well as the token, and the transfer amount. Select Etherlink as your target network. Click transfer and boom! You’re ready to go mint those NFTs.

For more detailed info check out the Etherlink docs.

Minting NFTs on Kroma

Kroma NFTs on Rarible can be purchased using ETH, you just need to bridge it over. Go to the Kroma network bridge. Select ETH on the “From” tab. Input the amount you want to send over and hit “Bridge”.

Voila. Now you have ETH that you can use on Kroma. Happy minting.

How to mint on Moonbeam

To mint Moonbeam NFTs you need a compatible wallet, like MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet or Trezor (see a full list here).

Next you need to load up on Moonbeam’s native token - GLMR. Head over to CoinMarketCap to find an exchange that supports GLMR. Once you’ve got GLMR, head over to Rarible, connect your wallet and explore those Moonbeam NFTs.

How to mint on Astar zkEVM

First thing’s first, get yourself a compatible wallet, like MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet (check out a full list of compatible wallets here).

Next, you need to bridge some ETH over to the Astar network. Head over to the Astar Portal and connect your wallet on the Astar network. Select Ethereum as the source, and Astar zkEVM as the destination. Enter the amount you want to move, and hit “Bridge”.

All done - head on over to Rarible.com and get minting!

Minting Aptos NFTs

To mint NFTs on the Aptos blockchain using Rarible, start by getting a Petra Wallet (or other Aptos-compatible wallets) and some APT tokens. To mint NFTs on Aptos, you’ll need its native token, APT. You can obtain APT on centralized exchanges (CEXs) such as Binance, Kraken, or KuCoin. Transfer these tokens to your Petra Wallet.

Once your wallet is connected to Rarible.com, navigate to the marketplace’s drops section and browse Aptos-based NFTs. Choose your favorite NFT, confirm the transaction with your APT tokens, and that’s it – you’ve successfully minted an Aptos NFT.
