Time to Shine: Moonbeam and Rarible's Artist Open Call is Live Now

You all know that we will jump at any opportunity to support artists, right?

This week, we’re supporting Moonbeam network in an Open Call on HUG, seeking 7 lucky artists to host an Open Edition collection minting on Rarible. Each selected artist will receive a $1,000 grant from the Moonbeam Foundation. Here’s what you need to know to apply.

Have you met Moonbeam?

Moonbeam is an EVM-compatible network operating on the Polkadot chain. Focusing on cross-chain compatibility, the Moonbeam network has a fast-growing community of creators and users—in June alone, they recorded 51,303 active accounts across the network.

They understand that artists are the core of any NFT community (that’s why they’re partnering with us 💯), and they’re excited to attract new creative energy into their ecosystem.

Moonbeam Open Call: Illuminate Creativity

In partnership with Rarible, Moonbeam is running an open call with a $7,000 fund for NFT artists. They are looking for 7 artists with fresh, unminted works, to be dropped on Rarible as an open edition, priced at 10 GLMR. 

Each artist will receive a $1,000 grant, and keep 100% of the revenue from their sales. 

All kinds of submissions are welcome—photographs, illustrations, abstract art, pixel art, stories—nothing is off limits. Let your imagination run free, to the moon and back!

Important dates

• The deadline for submissions is July 15.
• The chosen artists will be announced soon after.
