Rarible Has Acquired Flipp: The Mobile-First Trading App

This week we are hyped to announce that Rarible has acquired Flipp and is welcoming the founder – Artiom Ignatyev – is joining the team as VP of Product. This marks a big step into a new era of Rarible, where user experience is front and centre as we build the most accessible onchain commerce platform.

Flipp = trading made simple

Flipp launched in 2024 as a mobile-first trading app built for speed and simplicity. It offers instant wallet creation, fiat onramps with ApplePay, and swipe-to-buy flows that make jumping into crypto feel effortless and fun. Flipp launched on Base, grew organically, and was backed by Coinbase Ventures, ConsenSys, and other top crypto founders.

The TL;DR on Flipp: mobile friendly, simple onboarding and intuitive UX – the exact ingredients needed to make onchain commerce as easy and familiar as shopping online.

Meet Artiom Ignatyev: The new VP of product

Flipp’s founder, Artiom Ignatyev, is joining Rarible to lead product development across our marketplace and protocol.

Artiom is a seasoned pro in product design, and has been building in crypto since 2017. He previously founded Linkdrop (used by Coinbase Wallet, Binance, and Ledger to onboard hundreds of thousands of users), and onchain media app Surreal. A quick glance at any of his products and you can see that Artiom is a creative mind with a knack for fun. Sounds like a perfect match for Rarible, right?
